Pamplona may be world famous for its bull fighting, but rather than risking life and limb on the horns of wild beasts, we were looking to this city for some peaceful critter comforts.

Heading inland from rainy San Sebastian the sky turned blue, the landscape changed from lush forrest to arid bush 100km later we arrived at Pamplona, the historical capital of the Basque lands, or Irunea as it is known in modern Basque.
